Powder Coating

Elsie’O offers polyester powder coating for various metals, including aluminium, mild steel, and stainless steel. This technique is widely used in architectural and agricultural applications worldwide. Powder coating provides long-lasting protection against weather conditions and is more durable than wet spraying or brushed paint.

We offer a wide range of standard colours based on RAL, British Standard, and Pantone palettes. Additionally, we can provide finishes such as matte, satin, gloss, textured, or metallic.

The Powder Coating Process

Polyester powder is applied using electrostatic currents. Once the surface is coated, it is placed in a curing oven at approximately 200°C. The curing process takes 10-20 minutes, depending on the desired colour and finish. After the baking cycle, the products are allowed to cool down to ensure the powder cures and the surface hardens.

Our Powder Coating Capabilities

Elsie’O has two curing ovens. Our main production oven can accommodate items up to 2.0 meters long, 1.0 meters wide, and 2.0 meters tall. Our second oven can process items up to 1.0 meters long, 1.0 meters wide, and 1.5 meters tall, for the delicate items.
